Gieving To Death???

I recently got a call from a guy that said he was in dire need of a week old Keet! He had 2 and one of them died.

He said that he's had them before and when one keet is left all by himself he will grieve to death.

Is this true???? :-/

I've never heard of that, though the stress of being alone can lead many animals to stop eating, to get sick, or to have a high heart rate which can all lead to a short lifespan. It would certainly be better if they had a friend, though I doubt it would die.
