Had half of one of those only there was no yolk. It was very interesting through

I know right! I’m still trying to figure out who layed it, broodys don’t lay when they have chicks do they?

They don't when the chicks are small but not sure about once the chicks are 1+ months old and almost ready to leave the hen

Mmmm but both my bantams are the ones with baby’s big enough to leave. Other than those three broodys I have
2 ISA browns
1 Australorp
1 barred rock
1 New Hampshire (only just started laying)
1 plaitnum Sussex (not laying yet)
1 Ancona (just started laying)
1 barnavalda (just started laying)
And my rooster and my three broody hens (only one broody capable of laying that bigger egg has day olds)

They certainly can lay triple Yolkers, I've had one before, but I don't remember it looking that large, haha, that ones a whopper!

I’m excited to see it! In all my years and my parents years of keeping chickens I have never seen a triple yolker. Such good luck.
