Gigi the duck

Ok so my little mallard Gigi keeps flying over the garden fence which is about 3 ft tall. I’ve clipped her wings but she still can do it. We are going on vacation and I don’t want her getting out while the duck sitter comes. Did I not clip wings enough?

She is very beautiful Did you just clip one wing or both? Both wings clipped and some can still fly. Do you have any pics of your clip job ?

Thank you. I clipped one, then clipped the other yesterday and the little turkey still got over fence. I’m at work, I will try to get a pict of the cut job this evening. And I will check out that thread.

Clipping both wings might be where the problem is. 3 ft. fence isn't all that much of a challenge either if there is something on the other side they wont. Please keep us posted.

I clipped the first wing a few weeks ago and she still flew over. I guess she wants the wet grass on the other side. Lol

They Love that wet lush grass ! LOL
