Ok heres the deal, Im moving very soon, the 12th Feb to be exact, and i am going to be with out access to the very helpful and informative BYC forum

, which is my first stop when i need info, if i have a question, or when i just need to refresh my memory on my little ducky friends...
So i would like to get a bunch of Facts/Tips & suggestions of things i absolutely have to remember in my time away from BYC (hopefully not more than a few months, max)

So If you could each give just ONE Fact or Tip or Suggestion about ducks, What would it be?

I'll start: Ducks are messy, but Oh so worth the effort...

Tip #1.
I always try to find a good vet as soon as I can after I move. Dont wait until an emergency to find one. ASk some neighbours about the vet they use...A good way to meet the new neighbours too..I also do this for human doctors too.

Tip #2.
Before letting your ducks roam around their new home be sure to look for any apparent danger. Rusty jagged metal they could cut themselves on, any weird things on the ground they may try to eat.

Tip #3.
Make sure they will be safe from any new predators that may not have been a problem fror you at your current location.
