I have 3 mallards- all female. They were attacked from overhead by the biggest owl I've ever seen. I scared it away. Afterward, one of the three ducks seemed limpy and "sad." I put them inside overnight and this morning her leg is fine, but she can't walk on it. She's eating and drinking and quacking normally. What should I do for the injured duck?!

You can try putting her in a sling, to support her and keep the weight off the leg while she recuperates. Works for chickens, I imagine it would work for a duck also. Assuming there is not a fracture that needs to be splinted. Here is one thread with some pictures: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/my-chicken-sling-pic.713499/
Basically you need two leg holes and a poop hole, and they need to be able to reach food and water.

This issue is definitely not resolved, so please keep posting ideas/suggestions!!

I brought her to a wildlife rehab center today (she is a mallard after all- I did intend on letting them migrate etc) but they said since I purchased her, they couldn't take her and said (off the books) that it looked like a leg is out-of-socket.

They sent me to the humane society...however, I'm not a fan of that place for DUCKS, especially since she doesn't seem to be in pain... so I brought her home again.
I have her in a sling as pictured. She is swaddled and seems to be super comfy.

OH MY GOODNESS! I'M SO HAPPY. After I got her in the sling (just finished a second, improved sling model), I was able to accurately compare sizes of joints on both legs, side by side. Turns out, her left leg is much more swollen, but as a newbie...I couldn't tell. I think I'm supposed to give her some aspirin and an epsom compress...or so I hear. I'm going to mark this as resolved. THANK YOU

Here is the video of what she looked like this morning.
