Iris looks every bit a pullet, even though her stance might indicate otherwise. I love Doms for their sweet personalities, beautiful soft plumage, and their personalities. They also have a small comb that does well in our arctic winters. Oh... did I tell you that I love the personality of a Dom????

I had two Dom roosters that I took to a farm almost a month ago bc I cant have roosters bringing attention to my illegal backyard flock

The one used to fall asleep in my arms. He would follow my boyfriend and I around. I actually swore he enjoyed the company of humans more than he enjoyed the company of chickens, especially when we found he was sleeping alone. But it was odd bc he was the top of the pecking order. When I dropped him and his brother off at the farm, I was holding him, crying and petting him, and he was passed out in my arms with his head resting on my shoulder like a baby. It was one of the most difficult moments of my life.

Hes the one whos in my profile picture. I text the farm owner every week to check on them and think about them daily.
