Girls first time "on the range"

They're 7 weeks old tomorrow. They've been in the coop for about a month, but have never been let out into the yard (they have a small run attached to the coop.

So we let them out today... here's my "babies"!

COOL! When I first let my silkies out they where like "what the heck?" They did not know what to do but just stand in one spot. Took them a few minutes to figure out that running away from bugs is not the thing to do

I'm happy to see they like the long grass .... mine are going to have plenty of that!
