Girls have stopped laying :( not sure why

Mrs. Fluffy Puffy - should I switch back to the mash? For a couple weeks we were mixing the mash with the pellets and the last few days they have just had plain pellets. I figured that if I gradually switched they would be fine and not affected.

I would only say this is true if you leave the shells in large pieces and they still "look" like eggs. If you crush them up that can't tell what they are. I give them to my chickens all the time and I don't have any egg eaters!!

That could be it.

You might switch back to half mash half pellets again and if that doesn't work give them the mash again. Is the mash layer mash?

My SLW's stopped laying, right about the time they were molting big time, AND when I added 6 young SLWs to the coop..That's what I thought caused the boycott.

First: Perhaps EEs are not mature yet. Do they have red combs ? And 2nd: How old are the rest of the hens? A few years can be 5 or 7 and old ladies don't lay too much. And too young "señoritas"neither.

6 birds are 5 months old and there are about 6 girls who are older.

When were these two groups of birds introduced to each other ? ?
How long have they been together? ?

Have these girls even been wormed ? ?

Math ace - they have been together 4 months now. And when we got them we were told that yes they were wormed. We have not had any health issues with them and have been lucky they are healthy.

Kano - I understand the EE's are young, but the RIR are the ones I'm questioning. They are the ones that have stopped. I don't know how old they are exactly, all we were told when we got them was a few years old. The people we got them from didn't know. And if they were "too old" wouldn't the production gradually go down to nothing? Instead of all at once?
