My roosts are a 4x4 about 3 inches off the poop board. That part shouldn't matter ( mine is not screwed down so I move it to clean).
The Lenolium on the ramp needs to come off. There should also be slats closer together and it is too steep.
I have a hay bale that they jump up on then jump onto roosts.
I also would change out the wood mulch out for pine shavings. Easier cleaning and less likely they will puncture a foot when jumping off the roost.
