Girls or boys? Anyone have an idea?

Not British Araucanas as they are not a recognized breed in the USA and these 2 both have crests which aren't Araucana traits. Anyways...they are mixes (not purebreds) that look like Polish/EE crosses or maybe Silkie/EE crosses. The buff/white one is still looking rooish to me as far as comb goes if you look at it as being an EE but we still need a much closer up picture of it in order to see if it has 3 rows of peas or 1. I have no experience with polish or silkies if that is in their genes so not sure if that is a typical comb for either or whether it points roo or pullet in that case. To make a long story short, if they lay blue eggs they are Easter Egger females. Lol!

1 row is a pullet (female). Here's a link that should help. http://www.homegrowngourmet.org/how...crow-gender-identification-in-young-chickens/

I still say the buff one is a pullet if it's 5-6 months old.

My BT Ara's have crests which is why I happened a guess. But if you're in Alabama and don't have these, I'd say EE mixes
