Girls vs Girls

I was lazy, and DH left me too it. When I told him the MD almost hospitalized me today, and that I was under strict orders to rest and not wear myself out, he was a bit more sympathetic than usual. I'm just glad to know why I felt so crappy so long.

How are you today?

Inspite of much time on the internet today, so far I've managed NOT to buy any more goats. Now, I'm looking at good milkers, cause the others just didn't work for us so well. Ava hates them. They aren't the best for the udders either, so I was thinking I'd include one when I sold Ava. Oh, Buttercup, the "bred" doeling came into heat, so no babies late April, no milk either. We brought her to the local boy to be serviced again. Lets hope it works this time.

I hope you get the support you need and have time to recoop Marty. You deserve a break and some time to your self.

Oh those are quite the dilemmas with the goats, I hope the second service sticks for Buttercup

Not much on my end. Just looking into fermenting feed.

You are certainly not ever dull!

Tell me how that fermenting food works out for you. I've thought about it briefly. I don't know what the "norm" is, but I just had DH haul 450 lbs of bird food for the next 2.5-3 weeks in for me. I can't imagine adding more work to it, but I think the birds would really appreciate it in the winter when their are no other promising greens. Sounds healthful too.
