If any Amigas (other than miss henny) come, know I was here looking for you. I'm going to take my computer to a store tomarrow, and have them test and see if its my charger or computer that is my problem. It took me a few hours yesterday charging it, but today I can't get it to work at all, so my time is limited.

We got (in the latest chick/duck shipment) Magpies!! Yay! Oh, and I've decided we've got a few cayugas We also have a blue swedish I think. Not sure about the 2 kahki-ish colored ones, but other then that we have pekins, crested pekins and (one ADORABLE) crested cayuga

I'd be sadder/madder about getting crested's, but c'mon, they are ADORABLE! And I've made it VERY clear in the craigslist ad, that I will NOT be selling them to anyone who will be breed them, and that they are strictly pets / meat birds. Already got 2 people interested, too. 1 is for pets, the other eggs, pets and meat

Sometimes crested just happens. It happens without breeding for it, so no need to feel too bad.

I love magpie, they are adorable. My favorite ducks are probobly pekin, since they are the most "domestic" and a little less nuts. I like the heavy layers my kahki campbells were, but they run away from you constanly. I like my remaining anconas, black and white, really nice sized eggs.

Cochin, glad your on now, I only have a bit more time on my charge. My computer still has issues, and it's an immense pain to keep charged. I havn't gotten it to charge any today yet.

Oh, but one of the ducks has a tilted head. Like, its permanently set on its side. He can sorta make it straight, but its uncomfortable and is only possible when a person forces him too... :/ I'm worried he'll have physcological issues when he's grown. I MIGHT sell him as meat, but I don't know if he'll even make it to adult hood... Any ideas?

Well, like people, ducks have birth defects. If he's eating and drinking, he'll probobly make it to butchering age (which is only 2 monthes for ducks).

Ya, I mean, they had to get it somehow, but I don't really want people breeding specifically for crested.

They are Their little feet are just like... **SQUEEE!!* . I LOVE their feet. XD. I love duck feet in general, but their are all spotted and, well *SQUEEE!!*
Cool. Our khakis were Ok, though I wasn't fond of them. IDK why,just didn't like them. But they were a LOT better then Ruby, our last magpie (A drake. 'nuff said. I have a video of me being chased by him, then throwing him by the neck xD. I feel sorta bad... But he left me alone after. And never was hurt. ) I at first thought our maggies were anconas, but Ideal doesn't have anconas. Are anconas really endagered? I always see people advertising 'Anconas, the dying duck!' or 'Anconas are a very rare breed of duck...' or 'Anconas are slowly going extinct', but EVERYONE seems to be selling them, so I'm like, ***??! How are they endangered when EVERYONE has them!?!
I love the pekins too. I like a meaty animal, and the biggest pekin we have right now has this little tuft of feathers (sorta like a crest but its tiny, absolutely tiny) and is so cute, he'll sit in my hand and just watch me.

That sucks. We had the same problem, and it REALLY sucked!
