OK, I found this rocking idea somebody sort of wanted others to do. Its been untouched for 3 months now, and I think we'd be welcome to work on it, and offer it. I don't know how they do it, but this idea is close to my heart. Its a map (like the hatch a long map, unless we can find something user freindly, cause I could never use it) that help you find the people who sell eggs in your area.

Now, I think if we could get a map, like a county w/i states map, and maybe have egg sellers listed by that. Now, I think a usefull search tool would be way better than a map, but if states each started with their shipping letteers (KS or TX for example), than we maybe use numbers for counties w/i a state (like the state uses) or the counteis short initials (exampt kansas Lyon county - KS LY) could be the search and find tool for local eggs.

What do you think? I'm about to take DH out for a veggie dinner, so I'll be back in about 2 hours. I'll come here first, and see what your thoughts are.

What is battle pirates, anyway?

Cochin - When are you getting that goat? How much land do you all have, anyway? I need another breakdown of what birds you have now. I know you got turkeys, and you have a few chickens, and maybe guinea. You've got a dog (who likes to do atopsies on stuffed animals), an older sisiter, and a partridge in a pear tree, right?

Kevin - Do I need to go send something to Nifty and ask permission for us to work on it? Its probobly the best way for us to get to do it. I'd like to ask him if its ok if we make somthing, and then ask him to check it out and try it. I know with the right program, the Abbreb. method for state then county should be fast. Of course, we might need to enlist help from intersted peeps in other coutries to set them up too.... If they want it though, they'll just need to step in and give us "state/providence" names and some letter or number notation for the breakdown (like counties).

You'll get a laugh out of this, I' used to help with creative ideas for Alpha Micro computers. I even cowrote an article (I was the creative idea/and person in need of program) and Jon was our computer programmer. (and dear friend) So, I was kinda of a programmer. Ideas I can come up with, I just don't have the computer knowledge/ Your creative and knowledgable. You don't need me, but having me helps give you things to do!

Cool. How about a map that instead of little dots (unless its easy) to show where people are, it could instead show staets and counties, with a number overprinted saying how many sellers in your state there are. If they want details, the database is right there, and super easy.

It just occured to me, maybe this can help you get project manager. Your allready thinking like an A student.
