My toe is getting better, my life is happy chaos, and I'm getting very sick of my birds. A goose went up the steps onto porch and into parlor through open door. Geese poop when you play piano, did you know that? And also if you don't. Oh, and DH locked up the garage last night with a turkey hen in it!

Oh, and she got into a bucket of oil (from oil changes) and then flew and jumped from car to car, so all the old Volkswagens, including my husbands NEWLY PAINTED CONVERTIBLE all had brown/black oil prints. Everywhere. Funny as anything ever, but she needed a bath.

Can't be busy for two minutes and threads take off....Oh well....How's everybody? I have...20....new chicks in the brooder and 20 moved outside....and still just the 4 chickens...Talk about being sick of birds!
I'm really loving my turkeys though. They follow me everywhere and they're really cute about it too. I don't want to send them to freezer camp this fall

but at the same time...

Maybe I'll just keep one or two...
