Girls vs Girls

Why are you annoyed?

I'm doing better today. Much less angry.
That is good.

I am annoyed because I nearly got goats yesterday for free but it didn't quite work out and now I have no goats.

Hi everyone!

I'm not gong to be on Sunday - July 3 and again July 10-15. I'm taking my girls to Chicago this week, and in July going with Bruce somewhere, if we make it that far.

Hi everyone!

Hey Marty! Send me emails if you can.

So sorry Marty, I hope all works out!
So set the eggs, and FINALLY the bator decided not to be a brat and is now 99.1 -ish. Thank goodness
Oh and I learned what a male duck REALLY sounds like xD we have like all females, 1 male, and then 2 baby girls (one is suspiciously raspy though) and 1 male, I'm thinking were gonna sell the baby girl and baby boy as a pair. But then it'll leave one lonely duckling. And I still can't tell if the rouen is a Rouen or a mallard. But it's the drake. So glad I can tell the dif xD I thought it was way more subtle then it is, haha.

Cochin, baters are MUCH happier with eggs in them, and them more eggs, the more stable your temp will be. Yay!

Glad your getting your ducks in a row, oh, I mean sorted out. That's great that you have so many females ducks. One boy and 6 females can like multiply your numbers 12 fold in one sitting. Mine did, anyway. LOL

Haha, I put them in and it's ranging from 98-100 still. I mean, good temps, just I'd prefer it to be less cranky. Right now it's at 99, but course I had to fix the humidity and now it's 98.
And it has 13 eggs, so it's happy, better be! Haha

Oh and I think we have 2 drakes. The 'Cayuga', who has a dot of white on him, so either a bad quality Cayuga, or bad bad BAD quality magpie or a bad quality Swedish, haha. But the 'cAyuga' may be a drake, he's kinda raspy and really shiny.
Oh well we have 6-ish hens and 1 or 2 drakes, so if anyone goes broody were gonna have lots of babies, LOL.
But the Swedish is still limping and I can't figure out why :S . And no one is laying and we have 3 20 week old ducks, and 20 20 week old hens, LOL. Very grouchy birds!
