Hope all is well.
I noticed something, the 2 Cochins that hatched under the broody hens, are missing a nail! The toe under the feathers is missing the nail. Only on one foot, and on both! Very interesting. I'm thinking its because they didnt have the best incubation periods

Guess what?!? A PRODUCTION RED went broody! Gotta keep her genes! But anywho, I also found a nest of a half of dozen of duck eggs, so I plan on incubating those. 1 wasn't fertile, 1 was. So lets hope the rest are plan on setting on Monday, and lets hope we get a few more eggs !
