II've gotta grow some nuts, and go buy clothes for the funeral. The girls have easter dresses, that are black based, and nobody expects children to just wear black, but I need to go get something. Afraid I've put on a few pounds in the last two years.

I'm sure your going to look beautiful! I'm not sure about clothing because the last funeral I went too was about 6 years ago. My first and Last

I go to funerals for friends and family. Last one was the day DH and i got back from the honeymoon. His uncle had died, and they waited to tell us, knowing we were due back that morning. They didn't want to mess up our trip.

No, not terrible. This is terrible. Bruce was sad, this uncle and he were close, but it was mostly just sad. Whats the funeral you attended. That must have been a terrible experience, to not want to go ever again.

Guess what, I just discovered spell-check! Now I don't have to read like I'm illiterate. I'm a lousy speller though, and I type too fast.

My Funeral was a Teacher's. She passed away from breast cancer

Thanks for hanging out. I'm gonna get off for a while. I havn't done my chores yet, and I've just got to get things done. So I can sit around and do nothing, but have nothing looming over my head. Tonight is the family viewing (of the body), and I think, to quote Rocky Horrer Picutre Show "This looks like the beginning of a really big downer".
