It's illegal in all 50 states to discriminate based upon Age,Sex, Race, and Illnesses to the best of my knowledge. And sexual orientation in most states.

I love that so many people get to enjoy such freedoms here in the US. I think you can be discriminated against regarding driving, only for vision. You can get a license if you can't read, are deaf, have cardiac issues, or take prescription meds. (but don't drive after morphine please)

. I think your right it's currently only vision. I couldn't imagine even attempting to drive while on morphine. The couple times I've had it I can barely get out of bed.

I love US, its great and all..But if you can't read? Please please tell me they teach them to read !!!!! Honestly thats scary ! I love how US is wonderful (even if people are still sexist and racist, if you wanna see sexism come to my school

) but I think some things should be restricted if you have more risk to put people in danger... Still, love the US!!!!

Hope that guy is okay... He looked fine..but ya never know!

Reading isn't a huge part of driving. Besides the signs I don't it plays much of a part.

Yes Cochin, even if you can't read. Its sign color and shape recognition that are important. Its not like they don't realize the 55 means speed limits, after all. My friend Richard P. has terrible dyslexia, and can not read. But he isn't a dummy, to be sure. He'd out math you all day long. If they limited all possible risk, no humans would drive. We get angry (and it messes up dribing) we cry (messes up driving) laugh, sing, talk, and they all are almost equiv. to drinnking and driving. I'd settle for just preventing that, and there would be far fewer driving deathes every year. I'll take my chances with everyone else.

Never knew it. And when did I ever say not reading makes you dumb? Not reading is not reading !

I mean seizures, and like if your taking (at the moment) prescription that can act like alcohol, but I see your point
