I hatched commen ring-neck.

They are an immense pain in captivity. In fact, I got to feeling outright bad about them. I was kinda glad to see them go, but I wish now I'd let them go the first time, and spared myself several afternoons of pheasent wrangling.

Oh I've heard those can be quite the pita. It's a shame though they are beautiful! Are they extremely flighty like guineas?

Much worse. Constantly trying to fly out. Beat up bleeding heads par for this course. They are worse than any bird I've ever seen for flighiness.

If I had a list of my worst days ever, today would be at the top of the list. I have a stye on my eye that will not go away, my friend is ignoring me, and I broke one of my hatching eggs.
