I have no idea, unless its one of the ducks attacked by the hawk, but from something she said on hatch day, I kind of get the fillings its a big dog. Something about cancer.....

You should go wash those eggs quickly in warm (98*) water. I'd actually use the perfect temp water to wet a rag, then wash them quickly. Don't keep the whole egg wet too long, or the baby will die. You'd better wash it up though. It can still introduce germs to the incubus.

What about the bloom? It'd get washed away, should I just wash half of it?

I think I'd risk loosing the bloom, unless the eggs aren't really too bad. If they are severaly mucked up, your gonna have to wash quick. They can't breath through muck either, you know.

You should bring your question too me, everyone else is too slow to answer. Of course, I havn't been on since like yesterday afternoon.

) and hes $1 per lb liveweight, so before hes ACTUALLY sold (people are interested) I wanna get him to 30lbs

Very long. Its 11 now, and I've been up since 5. I'm afraid (so so sorry) that I have to sleep sone, HOWEVER, I can stay up late tomarrow and Saturday and probobly Sunday (as always).

Oh, and for whenever you can answer, one of the eggs (bantam) I guess wasn't being turned, or the turner didn't work well, because I think the chick is stuck to a side, I put it under the broody hen after handling it, but not sure if it'll survive???? Thanks
