You could trap them. But I'm unsure the legality on it. Here, its obviously legal because a LOT of people do it and then sell them on CL, but in some spots its illegal because they belong to the city, even though their an invasive unwanted species

You could have pigeons. If you truly want them go to this forum and they sell all sorts of breeds which is legal. I want either Saxon Monk pigeons, Frillbacks, or Pouters (i know their odd but with feathered feet I like them!

I don't have much luck with more fragile birds like Pigeons,Budgies,Parrots,etc. They all seem to die

Same here.

So far, no dead pigeons. In fact, pigeons are quite hardy. Frill backs probably wouldn't be a good idea since their a bit more fragile, but homers would be OK, they are hardy. Only thing that you have to worry about is over feeding.

Just make sure they can fly(I regret clipping their wings D: ) and have a flat surface to roost on, since they like to lay on their roost. I'd also Also have a netting over their cage, just to keep them in so its really thin but you have hawks, right? Then you'd need some thicker stuff.. so that means 2 chicks (2 eggs) per brood, which is 8 in total if they have 4 (considering none die) , so if you have 4 pigeons, 2 pairs, thats 16 squabs in one year

Yes we have lots of hawks here. I've seen them kept in large rabbit cages before. Is this okay for them? Making rabbit cages is easy enough for my carpentry challenged hands Lol
