Sewing quilt blocks is easy. Much easier than clothes aspire too, unless your doing something thats like art (say, a duck flying in over a pond) or stained glass/cathedral quilts are kinda tough. I've never braved one, but I did help our neighbor when I was a kid. They are my favorites, but way beyond my courage at this point.
