Thats good ! Not much, Starbuck has bred Sass, so kids should be here in rouhgly 150 days, give or take a week.

Go write down the date, and prepare to milk! I always let the baby stay with mama 3 days, long enough to get the milk flowing good and let the kid(s) have the chlosterum. After that, I mailked 2x a day, and fed the kids from the previous milking. (My sister would milk, and feed the babies the warm milk, then take the rest inside....we'd take out washed bottles with nips with us, and a clean funnel)

Baby will stay with mama until Mama weans her, (Depending if we like the milk) and be seperated at night. So 150 days is 5 months so in......... 3/something?

Five monthes too baby time. So, your gonna leave her with mama 12 hours a day instead? If you do, I'd leave her with mama at night for warmth and comfort, and then pen her by day, so you can milk after school, instead of before. Its easier that way.

When your closer to milk time, I'll tell you how to do it properly. Lots of ignorence results in mastitus and other bag ailments. You've got to clean tits and hands just before you milk into something clean. you've got to tie her legs to something to keep her from putting her feet in the milk, which is gross and you have to toss it. Then, filter it through a coffee filter or clean t-shirt. Then put in double boiler to bring to temp, and cool over ice quick, to pasteurize, which can really save you many ailments.
