I agree. I've allready talked her down to $600!!! It was even higher before.

I don't care if they are registered, but even unreg. start at $250 if they are milkable at all. I can buy a nubian that won't stand still for milking for $150. No. Untame goat, never even freshened yet? $300+. Unreg. Lamancha $275 firm.

The dwarfs are even higher. Kids (even the goats kids I'm buying) start at $350. 3 5 0. For a kid not even weaned yet! I'll just buy the mom and old 1 horn the mini-nubian. She milked them both to share and save cholostrum, and they both did ok.

Omg, crazy woman!! tell her she needs to do the milking test, or else you pass (a bluff), because if the goat is unmilkable its not worth it really.

Hey guys, think of this.

It was -60 the coldest it was HERE this winter.

In like Florida or other places like that, the warmest it got in the summer was like 120 (I'm guessing here of course, I know it was HOT though)

Thats a 180 degree difference.

Hello girls!

Well, she did the milk test, and the Nigerian, while a bit unwilling at first, did settle down and allow her to get over a qt w/0 taking the babies off.

I'm buying her two goats. The other allowed itself to be milked before. Oh, and I bought a cute little milker the folks up the road told me about.
