Do you like Stephen King??? If you do, its pretty good. Not as aggressive as some of his stuff for sure.

I think I've managed to read a book or two of his.

Some are reall mind benders. I think of Firestarter, Carrie, Geralds game (read that one!), and The eye of the Dragon as his "lighter" works, and thus I enjoyed them, more or less. I think your only supposed to be so comfortable when reading stephen kind. If you move into the dark tower series, Rose Madder, and some of the other, you might sleep a bit less at night. My EX DH just adored Stephen King, and thus he hardly slept. Its a wonder we had two kids at all.
