this is a great place to get goat supplies.


oh, heath checks also! And hoofs have to be trimmed. There is so much things about goat shows, thankfully the people there are so helpful!

I've never trimmed hooves. I've never shown a goat. I'm so screwed.

I do get stuff from hoeger however.

OK, so how do you train a goat??? Do you give it a treat when you post it, so they learn to do it on a signal like a dog? My goats seem pretty food motivated.

You just lead then around with the show lead, and teach them to stand still (Youtube, agian is a freind XD) why dont you head to some local goat shows and talk around, the goat people most of the time are super helpful.

None local. I'll have to drive 2 or 3 hours min. to find a real show thats not exclusively 4H. My kids are in 4H, but not me.

It would be worth it, trust me. I was able to show goats for a breeder to learn how to do it correctly.
