Do you guys know, I got some lavender orphingtons last spring, and darned if every single one isn't a girl. I have to find someone with lavender orphs and get a roo!

So Kevin, let's talk Texas. I've had an offer, and am selling my house this coming summer. (I wouldn't leave sooner) I loved Galveston, and think it may be a groovy place to live. What do you know about it?

The weather there is AMAZING. It's much better than waco. I've heard some of the people can be snotty but overall I think you'd love it there. I heard insurance was quite high in that area though due to all the storms.

I'd like to be there. I don't care about snobs, they are pretty easy to avoid and or ignore. I doubt I could get 2 acres there though. It's hard to imagine life w/o goats or birds though. Might be nice to focus on pets, kids, and beaches though....

I used to go as a kid, my aunt bought a place after hurricane Carmen (in the 70s) and fixed it up. It had a pool, right on the water. Caught crabs on the other side of the pool fence, and they were amazing.

It would truly be a scenery change. It's even nice down there during winter! What's better than being able to watch beach and drink cosmopolitans in the middle of winter?

Im allright. Tough to convince hubby it's a good idea to relocate anywhere but this city. He just doesn't get it.
