When I got up, I checked the babys. One of Julias last 2 button quail was bottems up in the water.
Next, I checked the other babies, and a silky (thelight blue one) was stuck under edge of food bowl. He passed away later today.
Then, out in garage, the light was out over those babies. They were unhappy, but a month old, so no losses.
Then, while I was downstairs to get my hatching eggs from mail man, my DD itty bitty jack-shitzoo-beagle caughte my sebastopol out of the brooder box, and worried her to death.
Now, I have one goose, one button quail, 2 silkies. Not that I'm not gratefull, but its beena rough week in the bator and brooder.
