I think this is a perfectly reasonable thing to say. Or you could try "you guys make me feel bad when you disclude me. If you don't want to be my friend, it would hurt a lot less for us all if we just walk away now......" I mean, real life is real life. Mean people suck. Losing folks that you thought were true friends sucks more. I think I'd feel hurt and resentfull, in fact, I have felt that way for very similar situations.
Aww!!![]()
I'll try and upload some pix, I don't know if you guys will be able to survive the cuteness though.![]()
Poor Cochin, friends are everything when you go to school with other kids. We are sensitive and intelligent beings. We are all three gifted and wise beyond our years, but thats part of the brilliiant thing. We are deeply sensitive to small things, and accidentally oblivious to others. We can slay with a few words, if our feelings are hurt or we are angry. It is best, for folks like us, to immediatly say our truth in the most loving way possible.
If we wait, we get emotionally involved, and once that happens, that wise brain takes a hike, and all thats left is an angry child with big girl words. Its our curse, and our greatest blessing.
Talk to your friends. write down your feelings, and that'll help you think of what to say. If you can't speak clear, write a note. Let them know that you like them still, and want to be a tight group. Tell them how bad you feel, and that it truly hurts you. You can't help that you have to miss school sometimes. Why don't you invite them over, or get a group thing with them. Play monopoly and bake pizza. Talk for real when you all aren't having a heavy discussioin, your eating pizza and playing monopoly, but hey will hear you in an intimate setting. They will remember how awesome you are, and then you'll just be back in the loop. It really takes works to keep friends.
Kevin, yes another busy day. This whole executer of will business is not fun or cool. Adulthood, while lush with opportunity, is a drag too.
