We have deer here. We also raised a fawn when I was a kid (whitetail) They can hide right in front of your eyes, its amazing how they blend. And they make these cute tiny little ugh ugh noises.

We were at my grandmas house (The nice one) and I was walking with her, and as we were coming back I paused. I looked at the ground cause there was just rocky with a patch of green in the middle. There was a fawn there that I could barely make out until i could SEE it was a fawn!!

@Kev- Go a wee bit outta your town, you'll find some. That is FUNNY. The ONLY petting zoo we went to with goats were fainters and they were penned up
Wait- I'm talking about like drive through zoo, cause the only thing they had for PETTING ZOO was goats, and at one spot a llama and another some pigs. Do you ever head through drive through zoos or none by your spot? Or was there just confusion

LOL, you would! I think there are a few types of deer (not native) that can be kept captive. The ones at our zoo (the special ones) are only about 2" high. Cute little horns.

Sitka deer? Dik diks? Sitkas are around 3-4 feet and Dik diks are 2feetish, so Dik Dik? They have little points for horns pretty much.

My day was ok. come out this morning and one little miniature white turkey had drowned himself. Poor little blighter. No wry neck for him, strait to death. And, one of my white hens overnight was just crashing. Poor thing just died. SHe was laying by the water on her side panting, but not drinking. ???

No no not in AK! It was like in Dallas or something. One was like a petting zoo- You road a train and the animals followed you then the train stops, you feed animals, and theres goats locked up but emus you can feed ??!!! Doesn't make sense if you ask me. Lol. And the other was WAAAAAY outta where we were at (dont remember) but it was AWESOME, it had Knock Knock the parrot who I think is a she cause s/he was missing breast feathers as if he/she were to be incubating eggs (had another parrot in with it) but who knows. And there was a camel who tried to bite off my moms had, LOL.

Sorry had to go put th goats away
