Its that time of year, warm and humid. Thats why its better to brood ducklings and geese in early spring, as the warm air and humidity help bacteria and virus to make their way around and divide more quickly. Remember, heat is a catalyst.
This is why I also like to hatch in February, so that everyone is feathered out and basically fully healthy by warmm weather.
