Yes, humidity is very important for you then. If the eggs don't lose enough moisture they don't hatch. If they lose too much, they also don't hatch. Just let the sponges dry to the touch before drowning again. That seems to work out good overall w/o a gauge. Be sure your temp is exact, Kagu. No room for error here, or your'll kill every egg. It MUST BE AT 99.5 +/- only about .3 degrees for optimum hatch. If it gets to 97 or 103, hatch is over. (ok, a spike for like 10 minutes won't change internal egg temp, and thats whats important, but if the internal temp go up or down more than a degree, game over. Quail eggs change temp faster, cause they are little. Chciken eggs are absolutely the most easy to hatch,
