Kev > the roosters are usually loud but you want to breed a class A rooster over a Class C hen so the roosters aren't loud because they are tiny, but even if they were bigger I'd reckon they wouldn't be louder then a goose or a talkative duck. Although the more roos you have the more the reason to crow, lol
