I have 8 adult hens in the same size coop - they manage, but they're only in there to roost, and to go into the 3 nest boxes. Just add another roost in the coop, and that should be enough room for them, because they also have the run. I'm glad your sister got her 3 - maybe she'll be back for more!

Get those pictures and post them and then you can start planning on who else needs to go. You have space for them for a while, but in the long run, you still don't want that many if they are contained. I put more than that in the same size coop/ark, but they free range all day and just go in at night. Kinda depends on their temperament too.
