Give flock milk to drink

digitS' :

Since chickens are supposed to be really good at free choice calcium and your birds aren't eating eggshell - I think that they may "know" best.

Some places, soil has so much calcium in it that they are getting all they need eating around on the ground.

The chance to eat green, green leafy vegetables should help.

great, then perhaps grain with mung beans will help lots. they really need protein since feather that *off* from their body can't grow till now, those feathers *off* due to fighting against mean roo.

What about sour cream? Could a person give them that? I have two containers of sour cream sitting in my refrigerator that have been there for awhile. I wonder if that would be okay. My chickens don't seem to like oyster shell either. I do give them the shells from boiled eggs and grind them up or break them up fine for them.
