Give me pictures of your chickens and I'll try to sex them

Oh chicken boy...that is NOT what I wanted to hear! lol. I picked them up directly from the hatchery, watched them "choose" even. How could they be wrong! ;)

So here's my next question, if these are in fact cockerels, I'd like to get two more. Will the 3 week olds pick on the babies even though they're only a few weeks apart?
It depends, some will get on just fine and some will hate each other. To encourage the older chicks to like the little chicks you could rub the bedding all over the new ones, this will make them smell like the older chicks and they will be less likely to fight. And, if both of your chicks are cockerels then they will probably fight with the others, so there is another way to tell... :)

19 day old dark brahmas, see how one has longer tail feathers and more feathers on the backside, what do you think the sexes are?
Sorry for the late reply, one sign to look for is developing combs, if cockerels the combs should start to develop pretty early, if hens it will stay the same size and will suddenly grow at POL. Also, hens should develop feathers faster than cockerels. I would need a clearer picture to sex them, good luck!! :)

This is one of my cuckoo marans, approx. 5 wks old. Supposedly she's a girl but I really think it's a rooster... Any thoughts?

Hi,
I just bought 2 hens on Craigslist, she listed the girls as Ameraucaunas. I'm thinking the caramel one is not? She looks like this other EE photo that I saw. Can you please tell me what she is? Also the other black headed one too. One of them is laying a blue egg, while the other is not, I'm not sure which one. Thanks!
