It depends, some will get on just fine and some will hate each other. To encourage the older chicks to like the little chicks you could rub the bedding all over the new ones, this will make them smell like the older chicks and they will be less likely to fight. And, if both of your chicks are cockerels then they will probably fight with the others, so there is another way to tell...Oh chicken boy...that is NOT what I wanted to hear! lol. I picked them up directly from the hatchery, watched them "choose" even. How could they be wrong!
So here's my next question, if these are in fact cockerels, I'd like to get two more. Will the 3 week olds pick on the babies even though they're only a few weeks apart?
