Looking at the comb, I would say it is a rooster

I thought so. I have 4 others the same age and none have the size of the comb, body, or waddles. Plus that one has spiky head feathers.

I'll know for sure if and when I hear a crow.

Its hard to tell with chicks at that age, but I can give you a clue on what to expect... So, Barred rock A looks like a rooster, I'm not very sure though, Barred Rock B looks like a pullet, but again I'm not 100%... If you can, post some more pictures on here in a few weeks, that way I may be able to tell.
