Given goats

I called a friend here that I normally deal with for quail. His wife might be interested in the pair in trade for Doe. I would have to get her a companion wether but that seems like a good option for us. I guess I did have sort of a Goat Mentor! AND I can see the kids and know they are going to a good place. Lets hope we can work it out!

Oh...I want goats! Nigerian dwarf and pygmy are what I'm after...females though. You are too cute not knowing what to do...I sure don't either. I love how honest you are.

My only other suggestion would be to not breed a larger buck to a smaller doe (as in breeds). I'd be a little nervous of kidding problems. Anyone have experience with this? I'm just assuming it could be an issue for delivering if the babies would be a bit larger than it's mother's breed.

Does can do some amazing squats and contortions to allow a smaller buck to do his job. I saw a video where someone had bred a boer buck to an oberhasli doe. The poor girl trying to kid was horrible. The kid was so large I am suprised she was able to give birth and even more suprised it didn't kill her.
