Given two chickens, what are they?

We were told they were bantam mixes when we got them, but nothing else. We've figured one is male and the other female, but we'd really like to know the breed of these two.
Supposedly four weeks old, the male is already crowing. We're also adding a picture of them when we received them.
They're a little blurry, but these two refuse to hold still.

The pullet appears to have some buff Brahma ancestry, shown by the feathered legs and buff colour, as well as the pea-comb.

The male is interesting; His comb appears to have side springs on one side, and then a modified (impure) pea comb on the other, which I have never seen combined like this before. As to his colour, he is obviously black, but those hints of silver on his back seem to hint to some possible lacing genes hiding underneath the (impure) extended black base coat.
