absolutely agree with you.

the comment.."they aren't vets" was meant as a general statement so that people reading will remember not to rely on getting good advice from store personnel...in most cases, anyway.

I know what you meant. Yep, I agree with ya. I've just heard so many of these employees tell people to give Terramycin for stupid stuff, it drives me nuts!

Alot of this is common sense if you just think about the birds the way you think about yourself....you wouldn't take an antibiotic just in case you get an infection, right? Same with chickens. A complete waste of time and it may hurt rather than help in the long run.
