Giving cheerios....

I want to try giving my chicks some cheerios. Do i need to add grit to their diet right when i give them the first treat of cheerios???

Do i just get grit at the feed store and how much do i give them.....i pour it over their food right?

cherrios is pretty finly milled so grit isn't really needed. If you must just a tad wouldn't hurt.

Crush a cheerio and sprinkle it on their feed. Then when they start trampling you you can break pieces off and hand feed them.

Soon you will merely have to hold a box of Cheerios and you will be popular beyond your wildest dreams! LOL

Do you give them the whole cheerio or do you need to crush it?

But Cheerios are fine, theres are reason why my pediatrican said they are the ideal first solid food for babies.
