GL Wyandotte roo?

Hello! This little boy/girl is 4 weeks and a few days old. I've been suspicious since the beginning as he or she walks much more upright than all of my other chicks and feathered out very slowly. Most of the feathers that are there arrived in the last 3 to 5 days. Any thoughts about what gender, or still too early too call?

I'd say cockerel. That's a lot of comb for 4 weeks. Still a little early to say for sure though.

I vote cockrell because of the color distribution, as well as the comb. But. I was afraid mygglw from last spring were males due to the reddish combs. I'm no expert and I wish you luck. Fingers crossed for pullet! Please keep us updated.

Quick update. Brienne is a few days past five weeks now. Lots more feathers, comb seems about the same and wattles are coming in the same dark reddish pink color.

I thought she looked girly too. I've learned that wyandottes are hard to sex young.

Weekly update. This chick is 6weeks and a few days now. Sorry the pictures are terrible. She/he is very skittish. Theres some little red wattles coming in too but I couldn't get a good photo of them.
