GL Wyandottes went out to the coop yesterday

Beautiful! Love the coop, too!

Sherry, what color are its legs? Some Wyandottes and EE's look very similar when they are little. A friend actually gave me some and she raises both. hehe They were all supposed to be Wyandottes. ANYWAY, main thing I am trying to say is, the only way I ended up being able to tell the difference for a while was the leg color. The Wyandottes have more yellowish legs and EE's or Ameraucanas tend to have greenish/slate legs.

That's very true about leg color. The Wyandotte leg color is a very "school bus" type yellow.
Thanks about the coop. I'm not a carpenter by any stretch of the imagination. I pride myself that there is a definite absence of right angles in that coop's construction! Besides, it was made of mainly salvage parts, so I did want something with a "rustic" look.

The one that I know is an araucana pullet has grayish/bluish legs. This fella's is more yellow.
