Hey all, my name is Paul and my wife and I have a small backyard flock just South of Chicago. We've currently have 10 Marans and absolutely love them. Our main focus with our flock and garden is a higher level of self reliance and responsibility, and our chickens do double duty as a source for eggs and the best entertainment we've ever experienced.

I'm looking forward to interacting here and getting to know you all.

Nice to meet you Paul. I believe that Chicago has a club for chicken folks, and also coop tours . All I can remember is it started with Chicagoland - maybe add chicken club to see if anything comes up or try google.
