Thanks for having me here at byc, I've read a number of informative posts and decided I should join. I'm raising buff Orpingtons and also have a couple Dominique hens, I plan to raise for both meat and eggs.
I'll admit, I'm a bit crazy about self sufficiency, and that's why I started with the birds. I plan to start goats and pigs soon, and be raising ninety percent of what we consume, with the garden. I live on a thirteen acre farm in central West Virginia, and I hope to learn and share much here. Thanks again!
