Greetings from Indiana! We have been browsing forums for so long that we finally decided to join. We have 3 hens: 1 RIR and 2 Americaunas. It looks like there are a lot of people who know EVERYTHING there is to know about chickens...so looking forward to picking your brains!!!

Sorry to take so long to respond...I was typing up a LONG post because I have a sickie! This website amazes me! I had no idea there was such a vast underground network of chicken keepers. Never knew when we decided to keep 3 laying hens that I would become so addicted. We've lived in our house for almost 10 years and because of the chickens, we have met neighbors that we NEVER knew. Weird to be called the "chicken people," however.
