No, have had chickens and many other farm animals since birth. I was raised on a farm.

Black copper Maran, Blue and Red Laced Wyandotte, Silkies
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The variety, the multi-use of chickens, watching chickens, and EGGS!

Gardening, vermiculture, hatching eggs.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Wife, mother, sister, and daughter. My daytime job is as a school psychologist mostly working with children with special needs.
