Glenn Cottage Eggery Finally Finished!!!

BTW, next coop contest - yours gets my vote!!!!

I love it that DH suggested you show the guest your coop, that is perfect. And once you have the chicks at home, watch out, he will be a convert in no time.

Some parts are bound to get a bit messy, but regular cleaning will keep the shine on. They are not like parrots who would eat their way through everything, they just get a little messy with chicken dust and such.

Wow... and I thought I did a bunch of work for my coop. I'm surprised it doesn't have AC.

My girls survived 116 degrees this summer so I imagine your will make it fine in that green Tucson backyard!.

I'm going to plant winter grass around the run and coop to see if I can't green my area up a little.

If your feed store doesn't call, you could always take a trip up to Phoenix... Pratt's in Glendale always has baby chicks and they usually have a good variety including easter eggers.

That is so nice :) We have way to many chickens for that size. But I love it !!! You ought to have it HGTV with the look what I did show they have! That is a winner right there, sorry you did not make the deadline for the byc contest. IT is just SO BEAUTIFUL!!! LOVE IT!
Love the attention to detail and how you made a gate out of a pallet! the coolest way to reuse things!!!! OH my gosh!!! I could go on and on and toot your horn!! lol!!!

Yeah... I can see that... the first time they go in the coop, I will be cleaning up poop three times a day at least... I wonder how long before I weary of picking up poop constantly so it will stay clean?

I can see myself now, outside all day monitoring the coop!!

Really cute!

I am sure you are so proud of yourself to accomplish that endeavor without your hubby's help!

Cant wait to see the new renters in your coop!
