A friend gave me a bag of brown rice that was way old so I cleaned out my pantry and did a big boil of brown rice, various pastas, lentils, beans, cous cous, corn meal and some dried apple slices I don't remember buying. Ended up with my two biggest pots full to the brim with what can only be called Glorp, but was apparently Ambrosia to chickens and ducks. For the ducks I put a huge blorp of glorp in a bowl with water to make Glorp slush which they went crazy for.
Not for eating all the time but sure made them a happy treat.
